Don't Wait for New Year's Day 2023: Break the Chains

There’s never a “best” time of the year to focus on eating smarter, getting better sleep, doing more strength training, or reducing stress, but one thing is for certain: we’re coming into a 90 day period where excessive sugar consumption and zero portion control are encouraged and celebrated by some well-intended people.

It’s true that you can just spend the next 3 months in denial by telling yourself “I’ll just wait until January 1st” and willfully accept a 10 to 20 pound weight gain and energy deterioration like most people do, or you can wake up tomorrow, find a sustainable happy medium with your lifestyle choices, and finally gain some meaningful momentum.

Start now and develop the necessary habits of discipline and consistency vs. wishing you had them in place when you wake up on New Year’s Day 2023.

FYI- If you have a spouse or significant other who does not or will not support your efforts, this will be twice as hard to accomplish. The company you keep during this time frame (and for the rest of your life) will play a significant role in how you will ultimately feel, look, and succeed. Yes, tough to read… but true.
