A Delicious and Delightful Experience

There’s home cooked meals, then there’s home cooked meals cooked in your home by someone who is a professional chef. I love it when Dr. Jill cooks- and my family seems to really enjoy my cavatelli Bolognese with ricotta, but, it’s a whole nother ballgame when a rock star like Chef Dorant Wolfe walks into your kitchen.

We met “Chef D” last year when he won Sussex County’s Chopped competition. In addition to nailing all of the culinary requirements to impress the judges, Jill and I took notice of his zestful personality and impeccable presentation.

When we learned that Chef D hosts private dinners and cooking classes at his own home here in Sparta and that he also offers to bring his delicious and delightful experience to private residences as well, Jill and I knew that it was just a matter of Thyme until we’d meet up again.

As a surprise birthday gift for Jill, Chef D came to our home and delivered a #firstclass dining experience. The food, of course, was outstanding, but the friendly and inspirational conversations in-between courses are what made the evening extra special.
