Hope Is the Engine that Powers the Possible: Marcello Pedalino Delivers Closing Keynote at 'Tapestry of Hope' Event

I had the honor and privilege of sharing an evening with some extraordinary people last night.

One of the many memorable interactions was with Lorri Faris. Lorri is a survivor of domestic violence, cancer, and food insecurity. One of these would be enough to break a person—Lorri dealt with the trauma of all three at once. She shared her incredible story of resilience and gratitude at an event called Tapestry of Hope.

Lorri reminded us all to look for the “silver linings” in life and that the expression “as above- so below” is a mandatory mantra if you want to achieve mind, body, and soul alignment.

I was the closing speaker and offered some perspective on the emotional connection between your health, hope, and the power of deliberately creating an environment of possibilities.

It was a humbling experience to be among so much inspiration.

It was also a pleasure to be surrounded by so much generosity and kindness. The number of volunteers and financial donors was beautiful to see. Another timely reminder that America is so much more than what they show you in the news and what’s trending online.

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of such a special night. (Valerie Macchio, Lorri Faris, Robin Hughes, Marjy Murphy, & Karen Ciappio)

Onwards and upwards...

Cheers,
